Music Studio, Bristol, UK

This project re-imagined the traditional dark aesthetic of music studios, focusing on creating a workspace that evokes positivity and creativity. By introducing lighter tones and a thoughtful design approach, the studio offers an inviting and uplifting atmosphere. The result is a harmonious balance between function, sustainability, and a workspace that inspires artistry and collaboration.

Space planning and acoustic treatment were carefully considered to optimise sound quality while working within the constraints of the budget. Sustainability played a central role in the design, with natural materials thoughtfully exposed to celebrate their aesthetic qualities as well as their practical benefits, including acoustic performance and insulation.

By removing a central wall, the space was opened up to allow natural light from the skylight to flow throughout the interior, creating a brighter, more spacious and welcoming environment.
