Art Deco Set, Boomtown Festival, UK

In 2023, Copper County underwent a major transformation, taking the district from its roots in 1845 into the glamour and excitement of the 1920s. Inspired by the Art Deco era and the rise of the flappers, the redesign introduced bold geometric patterns, vibrant bursts of colour and a new sense of ambition as the district began to evolve.

The project involved creating two completely new sets, while also reworking the existing environment to reflect this transition. Art Deco details were layered into the original structures, while traces of the district's weathered past were intentionally retained to tell the story of Copper County's journey and its changing identity.

My role included developing the design through 3D renders and construction drawings, before managing the build on site and bringing the designs to life. Working from concept through to installation allowed me to oversee the full transformation and ensure the final environment captured the story and character of this new chapter in Copper County.
