The International Boarding Gate

This project reimagines the threshold between worlds as a retro-futuristic lounge, blending nostalgia with speculation about the future. Inspired by 2001: A Space Odyssey, the design combines bold geometry, cinematic forms and a cosmic atmosphere to create a space that feels both familiar and otherworldly.

The concept began with geometry, which informed the spatial layout and became a recurring motif throughout the environment, influencing the seating, wall features and overall flow of the space. A cosmic visual language was layered throughout the design to reflect the immersive and imaginative world of Wake The Tiger.

The result is a carefully composed environment designed as a place to pause, wait and prepare for the journey ahead, a threshold between the existing experience to the new OUTERverse.
